Marketing business online is not just about “tweets”
// March 6th, 2011 // No Comments » // Uncategorized
The online “social Media” boom is helping businesses, organizations and even the hospitality industry get on track with what the entertainment industry has already been using to offset a deprived marketing budget. The utilization of face book, twitter, newsvine, skype and other online mediums with strategic advertising campaigns allows a low cost, direct access vehicle to consumers.
Let us develop an all inclusive advertising campaign, with multi media concepts, and online specific market research that allows your company to retain clients and build a new presence in a market place that thrives on “trends.”
Tweeting alone cannot bring NEW business to your store” its not what u say, it’s how you say it!”
New Business Cards

I have been working on civic and community based projects in Portland since Sept 2010. My philanthropic work keeps me busy with all the projects, campaigns, and events, however, I haven’t had a chance to focus on making any money, contacts, or network partnerships. I automatically thought that in “Portlandia” civic leaders, artist, entrepreneurs, corporations and organizations would embrace online marketing. The cost is much less then traditional advertising… eeehhh not at all.
Fact is, in my hometown, online social sites are used for communicating with friends, and family. (Go figure) weird huh?? lol.
I had my cards designed to market the Intrinsic BRAND. While pitching leads in Portland I have found there aren’t many folks in the City who know the value of what(?) online social marketing can do to support a business or organizations bottom line.
If you don’t know the benefits of “social media” business development, or online advertising please feel free to check out our NEW promo cards.

Social Media and Charitable Holiday Fundraising
// October 21st, 2010 // Comments Off // Uncategorized
Event marketing during the holiday season is the best way to utilize your advertising budget. Fund raising and business product launches have greater marketing power when partnered with special “causes.” Companies that support charities, and sponsor events that “give back” seem to get the preferred dollar based on that “good” credibility factor. Brands like Nike, Macy’s, Comcast and other national product providers usually have local ties with businesses in an effort to gain local consumers during the busiest spending time of the year. For 80 years families have gathered to watch the Macy’s “Thanksgivings Day Parade” on television which hosts hundreds of brand sponsors on floats, during commercials and in the audience along the parade route. The logos and pitches can be seen on television sets across the country and it results in Millions of dollars revenue based on the media exposure.

Black Women for Peace

The Multnomah County Department of Community Justice is excited about the mission of “Black Women for Peace”. My personal involvement in this group goes beyond my business background. I was born and raised in the City of Portland and have first hand knowledge of the community, families, educational resources, gangs and widespread and well known racial injustice. “My City, My Soul” is the motto I have adopted since circa 1970. Growing up in the great NW was an experience that gave me skills and courage to do positive work in some not so compromising neighborhoods across America. The programs against violence I have researched here at home have key components missing. My mission is to broaden our reach and resources by exploiting the “good in the hood”. Highlighting opportunities and building relationships with corporate entities who also have a vested interest in seeing an end to the violence that has plagued our hometown for over 20 years. These innovative relationships will create a major impact. Solutions to poverty through interactive knowledge based campaigns will help us emphasize the historic relationships and the value they offer in recognition to Black Oregon. The history we share in our community is strong and we should be proud, however, without knowledge the generations will never know. I am interested in speaking with those Oregonians who have pride in home and want to see a brighter day. Let’s WORK together and develop OUR resolutions to SAVE OUR CHILDREN!!!

Social Media versus Online Marketing
// August 2nd, 2010 // 1 Comment » // News
It is quickly being discovered amongst several businesses that promote their BRANDS online that there is a huge gap in the services that support branding, and those that support a companies ROI. In the generation of the ‘Social Guru” many companies are placing their advertising budgets in the hands of under qualified branding companies who can get them seen online! but have no capacity to sell their products or services to consumers who are plugging in to Twitter, Face book, and You tube. One reason businesses don’t see a return on investment is because they don’t fully understand the ‘branding’ service. Companies who buy online social marketing believe they are paying for advertising. There are even companies that leave it to current employees with no advertising or sales experience to update their social sites and this usually leads to disaster. Social media can be used to elevate brand awareness, however, the most constructive use is when an advertising campaign is attached to the project.
Do your homework when picking the team who is going to support the sales of your product. Online advertising is a lot less expensive then the typical ad campaigns, featuring print, billboards, radio and television and if chosen wisely the team you select can really bring home the return you are seeking in this new arena.
Talk to us about building your “smarter’ ad campaign online. Our grass roots campaigns have been implemented around the World and have always been highly successful for our clients in regards to elevated sales. Let us take you there!
